TESTIMONIALS

I was very happy with my time in Malaga. I really enjoyed being able to train every day and play lots of tournaments. This helped take away some of the pressure, and especially now, I can notice that I play much more freely and with more confidence. The environment was great, and having good weather all the time made the experience even better. Overall, I feel that I developed both as a golf player and as a person.

Emre Safak, GAP year player 2025-26

My GAP Year was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Even though I started with a higher handicap, the program gave me a solid foundation and helped me improve my golf through structured coaching and technical training. The coaches were incredibly supportive, and the positive environment made it easy to keep improving. I also met great people and made friendships that I’ll never forget.

Roos Hafkamp, GAP year student 2025-2026

My time at UGP was an experience I’ll always be grateful for. Over the course of a year, I had the chance to meet amazing people and golfers and share countless unforgettable moments. The team supported me throughout my time in Málaga, always encouraging me to improve both my golf and my Spanish.

Leonhard Von Nordeck, GAP year player 2025-26

The Gap Year Program gave me the opportunity to improve my golf game while also preparing for my final exams. The training facilities were excellent and provided everything I needed to sharpen my skills. The management team and coaches were incredibly supportive and friendly. I truly enjoyed my time in Málaga!.

Marcin Kuna (Poland). GAP Program with Spanish

Great experience to be able to follow an online school curriculum that will give me a good diploma as well as the possibility to play a lot of golf.

This online program is great because it allows me to organize my work time in relation to my training schedules and also allows me to have a good diploma which will always be very useful for me to find a job at the end of my years at UGP

Clementine Guiminel. Degree in Digital Transformation, Marketing & Strategy - EM Lyon

Special! I have completed my 4 years of undergraduate studies at UGP Malaga and I have had the pleasure of working with what for me, have been the best professionals I know. On a technical level, I have improved my golf skills considerably, all of this accompanied by sacrifice

Javier Vazquez. Degree in Business Administration - Universidad de Malaga

Marcin Bogusz. GAP student 2022-23

UGP Malaga offers the opportunity to combine university studies with golf. On an academic level, I am studying Psychology degree at Malaga University and on a golfing level the program provides me with everything I need to compete and train as much as I want. Also, being located in Spain is an advantage if you don't like to move far from home!

Sara Moreno. Degree in Psychology - Universidad de Malaga

My online studies at The Open University in the UK have allowed me to be able to practice and play golf to the best of my ability.

The flexibility in my studies and support from UGP has provided me with the time and assistance I need to make sure my golf and my studies are exactly at the right level

Matthew Tiemann. Degree in Business and Management - The Open University

UGP has allowed me to live outside my country and dedicate most of my days to golf. This has been an incredible experience, a great learning opportunity and I have consolidated myself as a better player. Also, living on my own before university helps me feel more prepared for what's to come next year in the USA
